New Pattern....New Pattern....New Pattern !

Deb Sinclair, from Australia, has contacted us recently regarding a
sugar sifter she has discovered near her home town.
Upon further investigation this appears to be unique.

The pattern, to our knowledge, has never appeared at auction
in Australia, the UK , or anywhere else for that matter !

We can find no record of the pattern which appears to be from
approx. 1935 or '36 (or possibly later) as it carries the 'Clarice Cliff' stamp
rather than a 'Bizarre' stamp (which was phased out during 1935).

In consultation with Deb, it has been decided to name this pattern

'Waverley'

This name is in recognition of the town in Australia
where it was discovered.

If you have ever seen any other pieces in this pattern, know the
original factory name for the pattern or even own a piece painted
in the pattern please email us the details.

Many thanks to Deb for sending us the details of her discovery.
