New Pattern Discovery !

Clarice Cliff collector Terry Darrington has made a startling recent discovery !
The picture below of a shape 358 vase and a shape 55 bowl appear to be in a
rare, unrecorded colourway of the 'Blue Heaven' pattern from approx. 1930.

To date, the 'Blue Heaven' pattern is known from only one example and
is thought to be very rare. The pieces pictured here have a milky
Latona-type glaze and appear extremely well painted.

'Orange Heaven' Pattern.

As is the club tradition, for patterns with unknown original factory names, a provisional name has been assigned to this pattern; as it is a colourway variation to 'Blue Heaven' it would seem appropriate to call this pattern-

'ORANGE HEAVEN'

If you have ever seen any other pieces in this pattern, know the
original factory name for the pattern or even own a piece painted
in the pattern please email us the details.

Many thanks to Terry for sending us the details of his exciting discovery.
