New Pattern Discovery !

Clarice Cliff collector John Moran from Australia has recently
discovered a new CC pattern.
The picture below of a shape 365 vase with 'Bizarre'
back stamp would appear to be in a
rare, unrecorded 'Opalesque' pattern from the early 1930s.

Australian 'Gum Leaves' pattern.

As is the club tradition, for patterns with unknown original factory names, a provisional name has been assigned to this pattern; as it would appear to be in the 'Opalesque' glaze type it would seem appropriate to call this pattern-

'(Opalesque) Gum Leaves'

If you have ever seen any other pieces in this pattern, know the
original factory name for the pattern or even own a piece painted
in the pattern please email us the details.

Many thanks to John for sending us the details of his exciting discovery.
