The Fielding's Auctioneers and CCCC sale No 2!
October 25th 2008

I just can't believe where the time has gone. Here we are with sale number 2! I've traveled 1000s of miles, completed the phone calls, met lots of great collectors, unwrapped all the great pieces they have consigned, catalogued everything, and am now impatient for the BIG day ~ October 25.

We have some great landscapes, interesting abstracts and unusual shapes. The consignment of a shape 370 globe vase from the original buyer's family is very special as the piece has never been ‘on the market’ and is stunningly painted; so much so we made it the catalogue cover! Of course, I'm also excited about the Tambourine Dancer plaque, and all the pieces. The main thing though is that we got so many affordable pieces, as I really want to support the newer collectors who turned up in droves at sale number 1. I'm sure we have something for you again in No. 2 !

Once again we have one of the Fantasque Flash presentations created for us by the club to show you many of the lots, plus the whole catalogue on line. Of course, there is even more detailed coverage INSIDE the Clarice Cliff Collectors Club member's area, in the Clarion, so if you are a SERIOUS 'Cliffie', please check there!

The Clarice Cliff Collectors Club members who have consigned to this sale have a reduced rate of just 10% plus VAT inclusive of all other charges for any pieces successfully selling. No insurance charge, no lotting fee, no ‘not sold’ rate and of course FREE photography. No wonder we managed to get 229 lots. The catalogues are of course sent out with our compliments to every member of the club, all over the world.

I look forward to seeing you at Stourbridge on 25 October and remember, if you have a little piece lurking in the back of the display cabinet that no longer fits the bill then please don't hesitate to give me a call. Sale No .3 is on in May 2009!

ps. I almost forgot, we are going to have a small social after the sale, just for Clarice Cliff Collectors Club members. We'll be returning to THAT wonderful curry house in Birmingham many of you enjoyed after the sale No. 1 . It's a very informal evening, just 'C and CC', 'Curry and Clarice Chat'. Email me for more details if you'd like to join us!
