The Clarice Cliff world does tend to get pre-occupied with what’s coming up at auction, what’s on eBay, and all the hype that precedes these, then the results. And of course there is the inevitable ‘tittle tattle’ , about pieces, books, people.

The discovery of an incredible Grotesque mask excited us when we first heard about it, and we just could not imagine how the pattern has been placed on the shape. However, when we saw it we were stunned, it totally exceeded our expectations. In 24 years of running the club we had never seen such a stunning piece.
