"We actually bought the Cubist jardinière, the Eating Apples bowl, and the
turbaned figure (which is pictured on a catalogue page in the back of Bizarre
Affair mounted on a bookend) at a shop in the US. A UK dealer had placed
them there. This shop is one where we had bought Cliff previously, but was
hundreds of miles from where we lived then. I called to find out if more
Cliff had arrived. A shipment had arrived just the day before and the shop
owner described things over the phone. Not being a Cliff fan, he knew very
little and I didn't yet have Len's books, so I ordered a large container of
Cliff sight unseen to surprise my husband for our anniversary. We were very pleasantly surprised by the unusual items and the quality of all of them.
